英文契約書の英語の基礎知識「or」をわかりやすく解説します
グループがない場合
andでは、包摂関係について説明しましたが、接続詞「or」は、「A or B」や、「A, B or C」を「AまたはB」「A, BまたはC」と選択的関係で把握し、「または」と訳します。

If, upon receipt of any such notice of a purchase forecast or a material change thereof, ABC considers in its reasonable judg ment that there may be difficulties in supplying the estimated purchase quantity or quantities on account of ABC's production capacity or in view of orders for the Products placed by other customers of ABC,then such quantity or quantities shall be adjusted by mutual consultation and agreement between ABC and XYZ.

グループがある場合
andのときもそうでしたが、単純な選択関係のときには理解に困ることはありません。
ですが、小さいグループがあって、もう一つのグループと選択関係に置く場合には少し複雑になります。
それは、小さいグループをまずは、「もしくは」とし、そのグループともう一つのグループの選択関係を「または」とします。
つまり、「A or B，or C」があるとしますと「A or B」を「もしくは」とし、 「，or C」を「または」と訳します。
ですので、少しまとめますと、andでは、小さい包摂関係には「およ び」が使われ、大きい包摂関係には「ならびに」が使われます。
それに対して、orでは、小さい包摂関係には「もしくは」が使われ、大きい包摂関係には「または」が使われます。
